Ok, so September is well and truly here and even though I have been trying to ignore the shops full of A/W12 trends until it’s cold, it’s time to start paying attention and get rocking those looks.

So numero uno on the look to rock this a/w 12 is BERRY. It was everywhere on the catwalks in February from DKNY to Miu Miu. We saw it again and again.

SS12 Trend – Tropical Floral Prints

Maarten Van Der Horst, Capsule Collection at TopshopIf you have fallen in love with this season’s tropical  floral prints, check out the Maarten Van Der Horst capsule collection for Topshop.

This is the first capsule collection from the Fashion East designer for Topshop and it’s clearly focused on graphic prints and bold colours in tropical blues, greens and burnt oranges.

Inspired from his SS12 mainline range, it’s all about the a cool 1960′s Palm Springs pool style holiday. Think playsuits, blouses / tailored trousers combos and cocktail dresses.

Maarten Van Der Horst is a Dutch born London based designer who studied (only last year) at Central St Martins.
