If you are hanging out in Miami Beach this weekend, drop by The Dutch for some easy American fare and cool dining. Created by New York’s Andrew Carmellini, Josh Pickard and Luke Ostrom (of The Dutch NYC fame) and long-time Miami locals Karim Masri and Nicola Siervo, the restaurant is housed in the ever-hip W South Beach.
On our visit we had oysters and the corvina ceviche with celery and fresno chili which was a fave dish. And it goes without saying we enjoyed some great cocktails. For some reason Whiskey Sours – they were good.
The space was designed by the Meyer Davis studio, known for creating epic spaces for Oscar de la Renta’s boutiques and fine dining establishments such as Nobu South Hampton.
Top tip – after dinner take your drinks out to the pool to chill out.
